Google’s Latest Android Security Bulletin Refocuses Attention On Mediaserver Vulnerabilities.

“This month’s Android Security Bulletin from Google is dominated by serious remote code execution vulnerabilities in Mediaserver. Google’s security update for Android devices this month fixed 32 vulnerabilities across 25 bulletins. In order to emphasize that the upgrades are applicable to all Android devices, not just Nexus devices, the firm also renamed its patch release as the Android Security Bulletin. The only bulletin that did not impact Nexus devices was the one that resolves a high-severity information leak vulnerability in the Qualcomm Tethering controller.”
